If you run a busy outbound call centre, your supply of fresh, quality data is the single most important thing to get right. Here's how to find the right supplier.

  • Check company longevity (domain age, Companies House, Better Business Bureau)
  • Look for positive reviews on LinkedIn and social media
  • Look for signs of investment (quality website, NGN numbers, business email)

Assess Quality and Avoid Pitfalls

Always monitor the quality of incoming data. Even a great supplier can lose their way over time. Watch for these warning signs:

  • Old data as fresh data — agents encounter deceased prospects or outdated addresses. If details feedback increases, your data isn't as fresh as it should be.
  • Overnight web leads as daytime hot leads — some suppliers bulk out leads by bidding on cheaper nighttime PPC campaigns. These leads are stone cold by morning. Watch for a flurry of leads in the first hour of each day where prospects don't answer or can't remember submitting their details.
